Heron Class at PGL (14th June 2016)
Update (from Mrs Jones) - 16 June 2016
Heron class spent an amazing day yesterday messing about on the river in kayaks and went back to the centre to learn the art of trapeze. Everyone joined in all of the activities and Miss Atkinson has taken wonderful photographs and videos. The children enjoyed a disco last night, but were still in bed and asleep by 9.30pm! I think we have worn them out! I was extremely proud to hear that their behaviour has been amazing – polite, friendly and supporting each other when trying new activities.
Today they are looking forward to climbing, aeroball, zip wire activities and street surf, in the evening they are having a campfire – I am certainly very jealous!
Update - 14th June 2016
Heron class had a good journey yesterday and had an enjoyable afternoon learning archery. They had a great time in the evening taking part in ‘Wacky Races’ and really enjoyed the game that involved Miss Atkinson wearing pants on her head! Everyone was tucked up in bed by 9pm and all asleep by 10pm.
Everyone is up and raring to go this morning – Heron class are spending the morning raft building and this afternoon Quad biking! We will update you more tomorrow!
